My Experience with Survey Making Money Sites
Back in my early days of blogging, I would use survey sites. It was a great way for me to earn some extra income, and I used the cash I made to start my first blog. I don’t use them as much as I used to, simply because I no longer have the time.
If you have time spare, and you could do with some extra cash (or an Amazon gift card), I’d highly recommend survey sites.
There’s just one problem. There are so many to choose from!
I get so many questions regarding this. The main one being “what are the best survey sites for making money from home”.
So much so, I have made a list of my trustworthy survey sites. Listed below are the top survey websites I have used myself.
Hopefully, this should help you to narrow things down, as I know many of you are worried about the scamming survey sites around.
What Are Survey Sites?
Before we get into my list, let me quickly explain why survey sites exist.
There are many companies out there where you fall into their perfect target demographic. Your opinion & feedback could be highly valuable to these companies.
Survey websites use their enormous databases to collate research on behalf of these companies.
For example, Samsung (a global brand) may want to gather unbiased feedback from smartphone users because this could help them to design a smartphone that outsells the competition.
So, what are the best survey sites to make money?
In my experience, Survey Junkie and Swagbucks are the two online surveys that come out on top. They are reputable, reliable, and you can get paid per survey. Both of these platforms have a higher volume of survey opportunities, increasing your chance to earn cash.
How Can You Make Money From Trusted Survey Sites?
You can see why this sort of feedback can be highly valuable to a company like Samsung.
Major companies are willing to pay a lot of money for this valuable data. So much so, survey sites will reward you for sharing your opinions.
If you have any spare time (15-30 minutes a day), survey websites could help you to make some extra cash. At the least, you can earn gift cards that can be redeemed at well-known stores; such as Amazon, Target & Walmart.
Now, back to the popular question…
Secrets to Making Lots of Money Off Surveys For Money
They a many a few ways to earn cash with online survey sites…
However, when it comes to making a lot of money from paid survey sites, things can sometimes be tricky.
Depending on your demographic and interests, you may find that you don’t qualify for a few of the surveys. This can really slow down how much much you can earn from completing surveys.
Over the years, I have learned a few ninja survey tips that may help you to make more money. Here are my secrets to making lots of money off surveys for money:
Sign up to as many reliable survey sites as possible
Some survey sites will limit the number of surveys you can complete each day. Also, if you don’t meet the criteria, you may not qualify for many of the surveys.
This can really slow down your completion and stop you from earning consistent money.
By signing up for multiple survey sites, you can ensure that you will always have surveys really available to complete.
Think about qualifying
The more surveys you can qualify for, the more money you can make.
When you first sign up on most survey sites, you’re asked a series of questions about your interests.
Here’s the thing if you say you’re interested in a limited amount of topics, you’re likely to qualify for a limited amount of surveys.
Always be honest when filling out your profiles. But, consider qualifying before your right off the topics you’re interested in.
The money is in the referral
Although you can make money from completing money, I found referring your friends can dramatically boost your earnings.
Most reliable survey sites will reward you with bonuses and credits for referring your friends and family.
You can share your unique referral codes with friends on social media.

Trustworthy Survey Sites FAQ
I get so many questions about making money from survey sites that I have decided to add a list of the most frequently asked questions.
Can Anyone Sign Up to Survey Sites?
If you live in the United States, and you’re over the ages of 18, you should have no problem signing up to the list of survey sites mentioned above.
That being said, each site will have its own rules and requirements; so it’s worth checking each site individually.
It’s also worth noting that each questionnaire will have a target demographic or audience in mind (age, gender, location, interest & hobbies).
If you don’t meet those criteria, you may be disqualified from that specific survey.
For example; a questionnaire about a new men’s shaving product may only be interested in the opinions of men who shave. No surprise there.
That may result in females (& some males) being disqualified from participating.
But don’t worry! There are plenty of surveys posted every day, across the different sites; so it shouldn’t be hard to find surveys that you qualify for.
Are Survey Sites Worth Your Time?
This all depends on your situation and goal in mind. If you have some spare time and you’re looking to earn some extra cash (or gift cards), then survey sites are certainly a good investment of your time.
I mean, it’s better than watching television for an hour.
Can You Actually Make Money From Survey Sites?
The simple answer to this question is yes, you can make money. However, I think it’s important to have realistic expectations before investing your time. You will not get rich from using survey sites.
Most sites have a limit to how many surveys or activities you can complete per day/week. The most I’ve ever made in a single month was $200.
That being said, that’s $200 of real cash! Depending on your financial situation, that could be a nice addition to your monthly income.
What Paid Survey Sites Can You Trust?
Can you trust paid survey sites? The answer is yes, the majority of well-known paid survey sites, such as the ones in this list, are reliable survey sites. However, be careful when signing up to other survey sites; as a few have been reported to be unreliable with pay-outs. Others have even turned out to be scams.
So, can you trust paid survey sites? If you’re unsure, stick to the list of trustworthy survey sites above and you’ll be fine.
These sites I have actually used myself and I received my rewards on time and in full.
Here are a few things to consider when picking trustworthy survey sites:
- Do they payout via PayPal?
PayPal is a trustworthy platform, and it’s usually a quicker and more reliable method for payouts. If a survey site uses PayPal, it’s a good sign. - Do they ask for your card or bank details?
In my experience, I have never been asked to submit my card or bank details on any survey site. All the websites I mentioned above are free to sign-up. If a survey site asks for your credit card or bank details, be cautious. - What do the reviews say?
If you’re unsure about a survey site, google the name of the site, followed by ‘reviews’. You’ll b able to see honest reviews from people who have used that site before. - Withdraw your rewards as soon as you possibly can!
Most websites have a threshold of points before you can cash out your rewards or cash. As soon as you’re able to collect your rewards or cash, do it. That way, you’ll limit your risk of losing your rewards. Plus, if there are any issues with the payout, you’ll find out pretty quickly.
